Quickly looking at the figure/statue we thought it was a nike. Looking closer its clear that it’s not, because for one this figure is clearly a man and nikes were female. We rules out Harpy and Siren because those hybrid only have 2 legs they aren’t mammals legs they are bird legs. The feet look like a powerful animal with long legs could be a dog or gargoyle. This is part of the early Greek because of how the eyes are. How the Greeks did the eyes determines a rough time period of when this figure was made. Later in Greece they hollowed out the eyes and used glass or painted the eyes. This figure has none of that concluding early Greece. . Because of what it is sitting on we are thinking that maybe its is sitting there to protect something. This figure isn’t moving it is perched protecting or waiting for something.
