This image relates to “Striding man”. This is a copper dagger made in Iran around 3000 BC, the same time and place as “Striding man” was made. This shows another way how copper was used, perhaps the first way copper was used – to make weapons like daggers, spear heads and axe heads. Copper can be made into all kinds of things, sharp blades as shown here, and round smooth edges that are shown in “Striding man.”
