This oil on canvas painting describes the story of St George save fort master’s daughter frome the Dragon. St Geoge who set on the horse used his spear pierced the wyvern’s mouth. This painting is 52 x 90 cm and collected in Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris. It’s drawn in 1460, and It’s a typical painting of later period of Paolo Uccello who is famous for the Linear Perspective. He is a Italian Renaissance painter and a important inaugurator to the research of perspective. He often uses mathematical way to calculate relations between the space distance of precise figures. The three main characters in this painting are exactly in the same plane, and the proportional relation is accurate. The depict of details is very elaborate but the lines and the dimming and brightening are monotonous.
