Initially we noticed the object was quite a unique shape and thought it perhaps was a handle or a vessel for carrying perfume or perhaps oil with possible religious or ritual uses. The odd colour gives clear indication of oxidation but we couldn’t decide what the metal was perhaps silver, or some other white metal due to the metalic white color where there is not oxidation. The use of lines in the object do not give much sense of motion so much as Make the creature in the handle very prominent and well displayed. Not much texture is used save for the indentation created over time and used to create the image character itself. The object overall seems rather smooth. The creature on the handle is winged and seems to have the face of a woman giving us the impression she is either a harpy or a siren. the main body of the object appears tapered larger at the top than at the bottom and does not give the impression of being very solid but rather hollow. Due to the angle of the picture however we could not say for certain whether or not the specimen has hole in it if it was for containing something
