Side A of a red figured calix-krater found in Sant’Agata de’ Goti (Campania) ca 350-340 bc from Pasteum. Cadmus Phonecian prince, son of King Agenor and Queen Telephassa of Tyre. Cadmus’s descendants ruled Thebes, his line would end in Sparta where the two royal families of Sparta descended from him. This is one of the first depictions of a dragon.
