Supporting image of marbel griffin penal. A Byzantine style penal made in10th–11th century in Constantinople. This Decorative Panel is 68.6 x 80 x 2.9 cm. It used for the low walls of churches and beneath windows. The main part of the pattern is similar with the decorative patternaround the Griffin. Collected in Matropolitan Museum.
