This statue called “Centaur and Cupid”. It is another copy of the same type as the old Centaur in ” Furietti Centaurs” , which made by white marble. It was excavated in Rome in the 17th century, but now is collected by Louvre Museum. The height of this statue is 1.47 meters. It has a Eros on its back, it hands are bound tightly behind its back. This statue is really realistic figure curving. and the light comes from both side which helps the statue more 3D, even easily to see the shape of muscles for Centaur. In addition, when see the face of centaur, it looks not comfortable, maybe because the Cupid is teasing him.
