This is Sobek. Many story support he was the god of fertility or the Nile river. Most common of these stories is his involvement in life and death. He has his own temple where obvious rituals of life/death took place. His temple has himself illustrated all over it in different scenarios. In most of the reliefs he is holding Ankh which symbolizes life. The temple in an the Nile river and the Nile plays a key roll in society allowing us to believe he was a fairly important God
