First Impressions Egyptian Tablet • Image of the god/deity Horus= narrative has something to do with the afterlife • Painting on a tablet or wall • Space- Horus appears a bit larger and on a platform because he is more important • Horus has sun above his head • The boarder is symmetrical but the inside is chaotic/busy lots f narrative • Colour- paint on stone • Texture is pretty flat except for the pattern of the robe of the women and the platform that Horus is standing on • Plant also has texture with the jagged lines • Colours used were most likely limited by what they had. Contains reds, greens, deep blue, browns and uses the medium as the background • Some of the paint has washed off • Leslie felt a bit sad looking at it
